An acrylic painting 9 x 12 inches on acrylic board. Starting from the center with white radiant oval shape in the background, white yellow moving outwards through lime green, forest green and deep dark green to simulate depth. Randomly across page are vertical brown and black curving lines of paint representing tree trucks. The top most layer is a stippled effect of white, yellow, lime gree, forrest green and dark green to simulate leaves. Winding from bottom left through to horozintal center approximately one quarter up the page is a stippled brown, orange, red, yellow line representing the hiking trail.

Acrylic painting of the Silver Cliff Tunnel found as a prominent landmark on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. The image is painted in portrait layout and viewed from above looking at the entrance near the parking lot. The sky is a bright blue, the Lake is darker and shows ripple like effects insinuating a light breeze. It is a Summer image as the foliage on trees is thick and various shades of green and yellow. Cliff face sections are showing in browns and orange tones. The road leading into the tunnel is single lane each way with a yellow strip in the middle and white lines each side. In the same tarmack color as the road a bike path winds up the left (water) side of the hill that encases the tunnel.

In a portrait layout this 11 x 14 inch wooden framed canvas is a landscape scene. The sky is reflected in the water of the lake, displaying yellow, orange, pink, purple through to the blue waters. The horizon sits just over half way and is marked by tree covered hill and lands. On the lake is a silhouetted person fishing from a small boat/canoe. The foreground has two large trees in the left half and low rocky out crop on the right. The tree trunks are blue, grey, black with whiteish outcrops of fungal growths typical of Popel and Birch trees. They are topped with leaf like stipple in yellow, green and dark green. The rocks are reflecting the pinks and purples of the sunset and have some low growing vegetation on them. The predominant sunset color is orange sherbert.

Original Portrait layout acrylic landscape. A very still and flat lake and sky implying a quiet night with an almost imperceptible heavy cloud cover coming in. The calm before the storm, so to speak. The sunset is yellow, orange and pink heading into the dark blue cloud. This is reflected in the water of the lake. The horizon shows the far side of the lake with a line of tree like shapes shadowing the water and curving around on the right back to the foreground. The left foreground has a single detailed bark poplar tree with summer style foliage stippled for leaves above and ground cover of small pine and other trees in a silhouette style.

Lucy, is the water bird sitting patiently among the reeds on her little nest in the foreground which is mostly dark blue and green details. from the 2nd to 3rd fifth of the painting a blue, purple hill raises up behind the lake and curves down to wards the left side. The hill/cliff face is in shadow but trees and rocks are visible.
